To apply basic physico-chemical principles to further our understanding of aquatic chemistry, particularly of trace metals, redox sensitive elements, radionuclides, nutrients and organic matter.

Our activities include the development and application of new measurement procedures and geochemical models, and experimental studies undertaken in the laboratory and in the field.
