19th 20th  May:  Camping in Langdale

Baysbrown campsite (GR 314052) near Chapel Stile.

Windermere Marathon is on Saturday, so come and cheer on Nicky and Aneela. You can take a boat on the lake and eat icecream if you don’t fancy the usual Sluggy stuff.

16th – 17th June: Camping  at Hay on Wye

There is also B+B available at the farm for any one who doesn't fancy camping.
There is a good riding stables just ten minutes away,  and a canoe hire place on the Wye. The canoing is easy - canadians or kayaks available. You can hire for a day or 1/2 day, downstream only - the company will come and pick you up and take you back to the starting point. Also walking, climbing, cycling if you prefer.

Bring food for a communal barbecue Saturday night.

Saturday 7th July: Skipton Folk Festival and ClogFest

Come and watch Rosie clog dancing. Another opportunity to eat icecream if you missed it in May!

15th – 16th September: Birthday Party at Dalesbridge

Have a weekend in the Dales and help Carolyn celebrate her 50th birthday in style, at Dalesbridge, on Saturday night.

6th/7th October: Something’s happening in Lancaster

Phil and Rosie are hosting a get-together at their house. Activities on offer are walking, caving, climbing, crafts, and games (and who could resist the chance to play Risk with Phil??) depending on the weather and what you fancy.

Sunday 18th November: Mountain biking in Wales

Coed Llanbegla forest near Wrexham has colour coded purpose-built mountain-bike trails to suit all abilities. Check it out on www.coedllanbegla.com and choose whether you’re a wimp or a maniac!

8th/9th December: Walking the Bowland Fells

Come for a walk in the Trough of Bowland, and/or come to Anne and Ken’s for Saturday night. If every-one brings some recent pictures on a cd we’ll have a digital slide show as well as food and frolics. Possibly go for a bike ride on Sunday.
