Contrails over Denmark.
Recently Lancaster University was contacted by Pedersen, H. who has been compiling data on the occurrence of contrails over Copenhagen. Data from May 2000 to August 2002 can be found here. On this chart red indicates persistent contrails, green the absence of persistent contrails, blue no observations possible due to overcast sky or rain and white indicated that no records were taken that day (Pedersen).
From this data it was decided to see if these observations correlate with the observations in the UK around the case study of December 18th 2003. To see if there is any correlation click here.
