General interests

Crispin Halsall is a research associate studying the atmospheric behaviour of organic compounds. After completing his PhD, examining PCBs and PAHs in the UK atmosphere, he spent two years at the Canadian Atmospheric Environment Service in Toronto. His work in Canada focused on persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in the arctic atmosphere and their transport from source regions. At present he is involved in sampling gaseous organics in the coastal environment and investigating their role in particle formation (see PARFORCE).
